Growing lettuce and coriander in a spare gutter that I found inside the garage. I am employing this concept from what we saw at The Spirit House in Buderim, QLD.
Keeping the lettuces away from (strong) direct sunlight will ensure that the leaves do not taste bitter.
The narrow width of the gutter also prevents the leaves from rotting.

And, just hanging below the gutter is a half-pipe with 24 small pots of seeds - there's basil (tons of them), celery (heaps), Chinese parsley, and Kailan. Looking forward to seeing seedlings in a couple of days.
