What do I know about fish? Nothing much, really.
Most of the time I would just go to the seafood market, and get the ones that attracted me most - in terms of price, freshness and also the seller. I generally buy from aunties at the fish market, as aunties would usually give me a better (reasonable) price than the guys at the market.
For the 9 sardines (pictured left, 25 cm average length each) and for the 3 fish (right, 45cm average length each), I paid US$4. That's a bargain, what do you think?
