Balik Kampung

Just wanted to mark this day (22 May 2007), and note that Sathees is no longer working for us. We have been having heaps of issues with him, but had kept him on as we felt that he was trustworthy. However, it didn't seem this way.

I have been away since 10 -21 May, and it seemed like he was having his holidays as well. No house chores seem to get done, and the entire place looked unattended to, and we decided we had to let him go.

Though Alan was a little surprised why he was ok being jobless, I was relieved that he would no longer be a burden and a frustration factor to me. He's been giving me more problems than actually doing any work around the house.

In any case, we parted in good faith. And we even paid him a full month salary even though he did not come to work since 10 May 2007.
