Alan has been super-busy the last couple of months, helping his boys to fine tune their dishes - about 60 entries this year for the Culinary Art 2007 in Colombo. At the same time, he has put together a Hi-Tea for 4PAXs. A lot of effort, time and energy has gone into this for Alan, as all the other competitors are from the top-end hotels in Sri Lanka.
Alan's take on the Hi-Tea was certainly different from the others, in terms of setting, presentation, selection offerings, and theme concept. Not only that, Alan has accentuated the theme of this competition, by using Dilmah's various selection of teas in their natural flavours - without sugar or milk. That's how quality tea should be enjoyed, isn't it?
