Last week was probably the BEST time to change some of your Australian notes to US Dollars, as it was about USD 1 = AUD 1.05The Australian Reserve Bank has announced a 0.25 percentage point interest rate rise to 7.25%. Thus, this good (exchange) rate will not last for long.
Australian Travellers: If you do need to change to USD currency, this is the time.

Singapore currency should remain strong this quarter, and may even continue to appreciate against the USD.

Malaysia Decides: Malaysia goes to poll on 8 March 2008.
Unfortunately, I do not know if this will weaken the MYR currency as foreign investments will be put on hold till the poll results.
