Was very lucky to be able to catch up with 4 of my polymate buddies for dinner & durians. We met at Chinatown newly renovated hawker for some local fares, it was my craving for something very Singaporean. Teck Koon recommended well, we ordered the famous claypot rice (which I have completely forgotten to snap pictures of the stall name). While waiting for Wendy and the claypot rice, we ordered some (pork & mutton) satays. Unfortunately, no charcoal flavour but it was pretty good.
Claypot rice arrived just seconds before Wendy sat down with us. As usual, she looked fabulous & happy. Always a good sign. We tucked in while it was hot, & Teck Koon did a fantastic job serving us as well.
We then thought it was time for durians. Luckily, all of us love durians. Ordered some D24, (3 for $20) & it was good. We had a good chat as usual before heading home.
