Balik Kampung

Thought I was coming back to more fruits on the trees and in the market... well, I was wrong. There is not a single mango on the tree, not a single papaya on the 20 papaya trees (they are still relatively young trees), not a single jackfruit, etc.

Sathees has so kindly given us a bunch of bananas (pictured above), he has about 500 bananas (so I was told) harvested just a few days ago. The seedless papaya was purchased from the Pola (market) - 50 US cents per kg.
